This 45 rpm record was composed using recordings of the biochemical activity of the Paulownia tomentosa trees at Le Corbusier’s Villa "Le Lac", in Corseaux (Switzerland) captured by Renaud Ruhlmann, an electrophysiology researcher, musician, and the founder of Naturasounds.
Recorded in 2021 (Side A) and 2024 (Side B), and subsequently arranged in 2026, these biocompatible signals have been converted into sound — featuring a Steinway piano and a Stradivarius violin — inviting you to discover the song of the Paulownia.
